How to buy a ticket

You purchase a ticket for the shuttle bus the same way as for the regular bus services. We recommend downloading the AtB app! Periodic tickets are also valid on the shuttle buses.

Buy a ticket on your mobile phone

The easiest way to buy a ticket is through the AtB app. You can also purchase a ticket via SMS. Remember to buy your ticket before boarding.

  • With the AtB app you can buy tickets to travel with:

    Download the app

    Google Play storeApp store

    Select ticket

Select ticket, the correct passenger category and zone/zones.

    Choose payment method

Pay with Vipps or payment card.

    Travel

Make sure you have a ticket before boarding.

Use your ticket on the train

With a periodic ticket or single ticket valid only in zone A you can also travel with local train between Lundamo and Skatval. Does not apply to dog or bike.

    Please note

Your ticket must be ready upon boarding, and make sure your phone is sufficiently charged.

You do not need to show the ticket on the green city buses and trams in the Trondheim area. Outside the Trondheim area, present your ticket to the crew or driver when you board.

If you switch between having your ticket on your t:card and mobile phone, the switch must be completed before you board.

How long the ticket is valid

The ticket is valid from the moment of purchase.

Single tickets for bus and tram are valid for one hour and 30 minutes for one zone. Tickets for two zones are valid for two hours and 30 minutes. Tickets for three or more zones are valid for at least three hours and 30 minutes.

If you buy a ticket for zone A after 18:00 on weekdays or all of Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, it is valid for three hours.

The tickets are not valid on routes from airport bus or other commercial routes.

  • With SMS you can buy a ticket for travel by bus and tram in Trøndelag and train in zone A.

SMS-ticket only is valid on the phone used to purchase the ticket, and a forwarded SMS-ticket is invalid.

Buy ticket by sending the correct code , for example [VOKSEN] or [VOKSEN2S], to 2027. Buy more tickets by adding a space and number after the code, for example [BARN 3] or [BARN2S 3].
