Shuttle buses to and from Granåsen and the city center during the WSC 2025

Shuttle buses will run between Trondheim city center and Granåsen during the WSC 2025 (February 26 to March 9). Check the departure times and boarding and alighting stops options.

We recommend using public transport both before and after the shuttle bus ride. Purchase a 24-hour ticket or other periodic tickets to travel as much as you like throughout the day.

Arrive early!

A large number of travelers are expected to visit Granåsen during the Ski World Championships. Plan ahead, arrive early, and enjoy everything Granåsen has to offer—from fun winter activities for everyone to artist performances before and after the events.

If you’re traveling with skis or heading to the forest, we recommend other bus lines or trams.

Shuttle bus from the city center

  • Departure/boarding: Munkegata (Trondheim city center).
  • Alighting stops: Granåsen idrettspark, Tonstadkrysset*, Lerkendal*, and Nidarosdomen**.

*At Tonstadkrysset and Lerkendal, you can transfer to other lines heading to the city center and other neighborhoods. Plan your journey in the AtB app or travel planner.

**Last stop and is served only by the shuttle bus during the WSC. It’s a short walk to Torvet (Trondheim square) and other WSC events, such as medal ceremonies, GauldalstunetVM-LAVVOEN, and more
