The carnet ticket for express boat is cheaper per trip compared to single tickets, giving you the freedom to use them whenever you like. The carnet ticket is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and is ideal for those who don’t travel frequently enough to need a periodic ticket.

Discount with carnet ticket for express boat
- Adults and children: 15% discount
- Seniors: 5% discount
Example: A single adult ticket from Trondheim to Vanvikan costs 116 NOK for one trip. With the carnet ticket, you pay only 986 NOK for 10 trips.
Activation
When you activate a ticket, it is not direction-specific but is valid for one boat route. For example: Trondheim-Vanvikan/Vanvikan-Trondheim.
Duration
For the route Trondheim-Vanvikan, the ticket is valid for 1 hour and 30 minutes, while on other express boat routes, it is active for 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Transfer
The same transfer rules apply as for single tickets. The ticket cannot be used on trains but is valid as a transfer on other means of transport within the same zone as the boat’s destination, and within the zone from which you depart.
