My price – discount on single tickets

Starting from August 27, you will automatically receive «My price» on adult single tickets in the AtB app. My price applies to bus and tram travel throughout Trøndelag.

What is My price?

My price is a pilot project that offers discounts on single tickets based on how many tickets you have purchased in the last 14 days. The scheme and discount may change over time.

 

How My price works:

  • Purchase an adult single ticket in the AtB app.
  • The discount starts with your fourth ticket within a 14-day period.
  • During the first 14 days, every third ticket you purchase will give you a higher discount, up to 12%.
  • After 14 days, or once you have reached the maximum discount, the discount will stabilize as long as you continue to travel as before.
  • If you travel less, the discount decreases. If you travel more, the discount increases again.
  • You will not receive My price when sending tickets to others.
  • My price is only available in the AtB app.

Who benefits?

My price is beneficial if you travel occasionally, up to 5-6 single trips per week. If you travel more than that, it is usually more cost-effective to purchase a 30-day ticket or periodic ticket with a longer duration. My price only applies to adult single tickets for bus and tram and does not apply to other already discounted tickets.

What do you need to do?

Update to the latest version of the AtB app if you don’t already see the My price feature when purchasing an adult single ticket. Once the app is updated, My price is activated automatically, and you don’t need to do anything further.

  • My price is a discount scheme being introduced on August 27th, 2024. When you purchase an adult single ticket in the AtB app, you receive a personal discount starting from the fourth ticket if you purchase multiple tickets within a 14-day period. It is perfect for those who travel less than six single trips per week or are unsure about their future travel frequency.

  • My price will be available in the AtB app from August 27th, 2024. You will accumulate discounts on trips made from this date onwards.

    How to update the AtB app

  • Your price is continuously calculated based on how many trips you’ve made in the last 14 days. You will get a lower price after three purchased tickets. The minimum price of NOK 37.84 is reached with your tenth ticket purchased within the period.

  • Your price only applies to adult single tickets purchased in the AtB app. It does not apply to other ticket categories such as child, senior, or student, and also not to tickets purchased at ticket machines, in the online store, or on board. Your price also does not apply to express boat tickets.

  • Not necessarily. My price depends on your travel pattern over the past 14 days. If you travel less in a 14-day period, the price may adjust.

    Example:

    From April 1-14, you traveled 10 times, resulting in a price of NOK 37.84 for your next ticket. Then you take a week off and plan to travel again on April 21. The number of trips in the last 14 days has decreased. You traveled five times from April 7-21, so the ticket price will be NOK 41.28. The price will decrease again if you travel more frequently.

  • Yes, all adult single tickets you purchase at the same time will have the current My price.

    Example:

    You have previously purchased five adult single tickets within a 14-day period, and My price is already NOK 41.28 per ticket. If you purchase three new adult single tickets, all will cost NOK 41.28.

    The number of adult single tickets purchased simultaneously will be added to your total number of tickets purchased in the 14-day period. This may affect My price the next time you buy one or more tickets. Remember! You cannot send tickets to others when the ticket is purchased with My price.

  • My price is initially being launched as a pilot project throughout Trøndelag. This means that the offer may be adjusted based on experiences and feedback. The discount table may change along the way to ensure that the scheme works best for our travelers.
